Home of Kushti Vardos, where you can enjoy Romany heritage with our onsite Romany museum and enjoy the unique opportunity to stay in wagons over 100 years old, all lovingly restored.
Your host, Clarence Ware, is onsite and offers an amazing opportunity to learn more about the traditional way of the Travelers as he, himself, is from a traveling family and a proud historian.

Experience the charm and comfort of our traditional Gypsy Wagons. Each Wagon is lovingly restored and fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Traditional cooking pot per pitch and Clarence is available onsite to show you how they would have cooked their meals,
Camping Facilities
Bring your own tent and enjoy the simplicity of camping. Our campsite provides spacious pitches, clean toilets and showers.
Caravan Pitch
You can bring your own caravan and park on out hard standing. Electricity on site and available.

A Slice of Tranquility in Devon
Nestled in the heart of Devon, Romany Ri Campsite offers a unique holiday experience surrounded by picturesque countryside. With a range of traditional Gypsy Wagons as well as camping facilities, we cater to both adventurous travellers and those seeking a peaceful escape. Our campsite is family-friendly and provides a safe and welcoming environment for all.
We boast a pretty fishing lake on site, free to use for all guests as well as several Horses and Donkeys, ideal for Children to experience being closer to nature.
You can also add a course in Horse management if you wish while you are on site, and even get to meet Milly Alan Palmer, the famous Horse whisperer.
Traditional wreath making, wood flower making, Barge and Horseshoe painting are also on site and we can even offer workshops on Circus skills and Horse Driving.
